1RPCS3 and iOS

RPCS3 is the PS3 emulator most players already know. Its own project page lists Windows, Linux, macOS and FreeBSD, and iOS is not one of them.

Surume is a separate app built for iPhone and iPad. It plays the PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS Vita games you own, with partial PS1 support.

Note: Surume plays games you own, so bring your own copies.

2How the install works

  1. aPress Get my PS3 emulator.
  2. bThe page tests PS2, PS3, PS4 and PS Vita against your device and its iOS version.
  3. cIt displays the 896 MB install prepared for that device.
  4. dOne quick check starts the install.

Warning: the install needs 896 MB free on your iPhone or iPad. Clear space first, then press the button again.

Inside the box: the Surume app, a console check for your device, the 896 MB install matched to your iOS version, menus in eleven languages.
